I'll let you guys decide whether this app is any fun, and whether is the kind of thing to post on fractalforums.
Attached is the zipped EXE for Windows 10 machines.

source code:   https://github.com/Kosalos/Windows_MishMash
(like last time, I used VS2019..)

I use win7 too, but is nice to see new software been released, since the most complex to more simple, all are welcome.

I tried to run on win7 anyway and get an error. Note that the program refers to a directory that don't exist on my machine. Maybe it is refering to a directory of your machine. Maybe it will need to refer to the main Windows_MishMash.exe directory.

program crash: view.cpp, line 207
Sorry gerson.
That code is trying to create a D3D11 texture view,  not anything related to a bad file reference.
I'm new to this D3D11 stuff.
All I can think is that the app depends on 'features' that your environment doesn't offer.
I am using VS2019, with Platform toolset  v142.
(in Solution Explorer, right click on Project name to access  Properties,General)
Maybe that can be lowered?  I'll look.

Hi gerson,
please download the source code again, and see if you have better luck.
I just changed it to use the v120 toolset that came out with VS2013.
(main changes:   constexpr auto xxx = 12;   changed back to   #define xxx 12)

better but didn't work yet. Don't worry about that. I have Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 14.0.24215 instaled on my machine, maybe is missing something.

I get exactly the same error. Have VS2019 installed, the d3d11.dll is present.
Win7 might just not handle this win10 executable?
