Hello, I am back at the 3D fractal VR and am running into the wall with a stereo render project.  After spending over a week rendering, I noticed all the right images have a line on the left edge :fp:.  This is a separate problem from the AA (screen space). I am on Mandelbulber 2.21 on windows 10, with the work split between 3 machines all running various AMD GPUs of which the radeon vii is by far the most effective (5-10 times faster than the rx580)  but the most crash prone too. Also I will note I get the "no open cl device" warning on startup but I can select it and render on the gpu.

I am just wondering if anyone has run into this issue and if there is a workaround.  The render was done with AA set to fast (after the last issue with screen space having a border).  The render looks amazing otherwise but the line on the right image takes away from the immersive quality so I would like to find a solution to get the stereo render working. please let me know if anyone has a workaround.  Also, if there is a way to render, only the right images (like mandelbulb3d) please let me know.  Thank you very much! :peace:

Can you show any image frame where this issue is visible?

As I understand you render scene with 360 degree view angle (used equirectangular projection). You write that you used AA? What is it? Do you mean AO (Ambient occlusion)? Do use use SSAO (Screen Space Ambient Occlusion) or DOF? These effects are not seamless. Instead of SSAO you can use any other mode of ambient occlusion.

I apologize for the typo, yes, ambient occlusion, not antialising. I used fast AO mode (no screen space since you already cued me in to that limitation). I have tried disabling ambient occlusion as well but I am still getting the line on only the left side of the right image from the stereo render. left image looks good. I did the testing with a lower resolution non stereo image and thought things were fine till I rigged the image in stereo VR after doing the full resolution (5760/5760) render.  thanks for the reply, any help is graciously appreciated

Which stereo mode do you use? Left/right or top/bottom? Do you use "swap eyes"?

Ok, thanks for the tips. It appears rendering top/ bottom fixes the issue  ! I was rendering left/ right to separate files for flexibility in post but I will start over with the top/bottom method.  I included a scaled down version of a right image with the line. It was so subtle I didn't notice till viewing in VR.  Thank you very much for your insight and work on this great software.  I really appreciate the help!
