depth of field problem

Hi All
It's been a long time since I used Mb3D, I'm making animations, andam running into a problem with the depth of field.  when an object gets close to the camera, it gits sliced through at a given distance from the camera.  ho do nI stop this.  I want to fly through the fractal bulbs, but this flaw ruins that effect.  any solutions??  Thanks T'sarvek >:D
