Thanks! Yes, pauldelbrot's idea of following the fates of two (ciritcal) points and combining their outcomes into the final color gave a lot of options.

Interesting image! and agree with Gerson, great colors  :thumbs:

May I ask a noob question about the formula? what does the i stand for in f(z)=(0.5+1i)*z^2*(z-c) / (1-z*c) ? I do not have the heart to ask in that thread...  :embarrass:
