Title: m-streching-feigenbaum from mandelbrot-graphics library by Claude
Post by: Adam Majewski on September 14, 2019, 03:56:59 PM
Hi,

I can use c program
https://code.mathr.co.uk/mandelbrot-graphics/blob/HEAD:/c/bin/m-stretching-feigenbaum.c

to create image out.png

It works well, shows components of Mandelbrot set from right :
transformed to make all have the same size

When I try to show more components of period doubling cascade ( out3000.png) I increase w to 3000 ( from the initial 1500)
It works , but main cardioid moves to the right  and left part of the image is empty.
How can I move it to the right?

TIA

I guess something like replacing -2.5 on line 17 with -5.0, might work.  May need fine tuning.  Should really be some expression using w and h and r.
