Description: This composite image has been made with my own program. This is another approach for getting fractals. In this case i let the pixels interact with their respective neighbors by adding a random value and an value depending on the value of the interacting neighbors. All begin with a value of 1. This forces first a random structure, which then orders itself forming lattices of different kinds. Top left they are only interacting with the closest neighbors. From image to image the distance of the 8 interaction neighbors increases. If you zoom until pixel level, you can see, that the complexity and variety of lattices increases if you go to the next one. The grids grow and handle the borders better and better. kohlenstoff  May 09, 2021, 12:46:23 AM Here one Example for explanation. XOX OPO XOX "P" is the actual Pixel. "O" are neighbors, which "P" ignores. "X" are the pixels, which "P" interacts. When the sum of all 4 "X" pixels divided by 4 is higher than "P", the next iteration will add to "P" a value of 20 % and a random value between 20 % and +20 %. Otherwise it will substract the afore mentioned values. This was just for explanation. The types of interaction can be varied with different results. I actually forgot, which interaction i choosed for the image. But it was similarily simple.

But there is an interaction between pixels, which means the numbers of each pixel change durting each iteration depending on the value of the number of the predefined neighbors. To prevent sraight too fast results i added a random factor. 
FractRacer  May 05, 2021, 02:16:04 PM A doubt grips me, since you add a random value, the pattern repetition should not be. But perhaps I have misunderstood how it works. Are you sure about your random generator ?
