I think most of used fractals were discovered not by academics and are far out of classical science. I don't know but as far as I know arxiv is preprint, with less strict standarts. I guess everyone can publicate but the standarts are so high that without university at your back it just woun't go.

Thank you, I'm not an academic so getting the report published in something like arxiv or a mathematical journal was pretty much a no-go

Lol no, its self-recursive. That image (I apologize for the low quality) is an even number of iterations, 16 to be exact. Any odd numbered iteration will be a double of what you see there. The 'Bruh'ling is my namesake because this particular formula of what is known as a DeRham curve was previously unknown with the other known 3 are being Takagi, Cesaro-Levy and the Koch-Peano.
