Description: The geared polyhedra is a boolean geometric form made with Mandelbulber. It's not really a fractal because it does not have recursion. The fact it was made with a fractal program shows how versatile the software can be.

This is camping in style, a gorgeous teepee in the rainforest.

It could be great but in large resolution it looks like special effects in c class sci fi movies. There are some special ways to eliminate this artefact. This has something to do with borders of object. Throught I don't know how to eliminate that.

I sayd that about technology.
This Tasmanian (?) forest is very nice and the UFO polyhedra levitating from the platonic universe of ideal solids is just great. Just that b - class movie effect destroys the scenery.

Hi Alex thanks for the constructive criticism there should be more of it. This is one frame from a multi frame series of a rotating polyhedra object. Its rendered with an alpha background so I just dropped it onto an open source rainforest image.
I was going to pull one frame out of the series and render at a higher res but it seems hard.
I render a lot at 1280x720 because, lets be blunt about this - rendering fractal videos with coal-fired electricity is stuffing-up the Earths climate.
Bitcoin has a carbon footprint the size of New Zealand so where are 3d fractals? Not far behind probably.
 https://www.cnbc.com/2021/02/05/bitcoin-btc-surge-renews-worries-about-its-massive-carbon-footprint.html

This does not include the carbon footprint of watching ultra-high res videos that our death-spiral civilisation now demands. With all of our quaint fractal equations we are being taken down by plastic bags as a species. Now what sort of equation is that?

I must agree on this. Lots of resources are just wasted. They are burning their GPU's (on coal) to just inflate the finance bubble. (And Buffet don't owns it.) Throught I must admit I own a bitt of ethereum and recent rise of crypto prices slightly increases happiness.
3D fractal rendering probably is just 0.000 ... 1 of this. There aren't fractal farms.
