Added colour with ggr2glsl by user patched a very nice tool to convert GIMP gradients to GLSL.

I think it has potential, rendering a bit faster but still too slow. Will post the code if I can speed it up.



I like the way the lake turned out, no reflection set for the object, the colour comes from interference with the landscape DE (bad math coding on my part I think but nice effect)

Elevation maps / heightfields are a workable simplification for terrain; but lavish plant life just doesn't fit that model.

the trees look great in the reflections...  investigating the raytracer frag, must be something in the floorHit reflect code that might tell me why the trees look that way...

render time 105 minutes

edit: the pools in the foreground are hot springs  8)
