Hi, this topic was previously covered.  I was unable to resolve the same issue.  I have tried Render --> High Resolution, one tile, 100% padding and set the buffer size to a large value, but it just comes out all blurry.  If there is a specific fragment that works that might do it, but I am not exactly a git expert.  I also have another question:  For some reason my tetrabrot fractal appears to be missing details.  I am not sure that is a resolution issue.  So in the case of the second question how can I make sure to get  all the finer details?

When rendering using a single tile no padding is required

When rendering with tiles using brute tracer you should only need enough padding to cover the edges like 1-5%

Blurriness can be caused by antialiasing (post) set too large or aperture (camera) set too large

I get the feeling that this is not a problem with frag, rather, you need to play with it more to get the settings nailed down and get to know the limits and features of the different raytracer frags.

Also check the links under the "Help" menu, there is a wiki that describes all of the features (or at least mentions them and where they are) and there is some "must read" info in Sytopia's blog...

Fragmentarium is not a toy, it is a very versatile tool that can be used to make toys ;)
