Trinket Sphere-Cube--"Real Good Time" (Solo Piano + Piano Solo): 3D fractals audio-synced to the sound of a solo piano, plus a piano solo.

Made with Mandelbulber. Original piano music and video by Stephen Sink/Paigan Productions.

Well that worked nicely. Audio sync is pretty good. I think it's mostly beat rather than frequency but a combination of beat and frequency would work. I'm sure there are algorithms that were used in older media visualizers that were once popular.

Yep, the frequency part of audio_animation needs further investigating. Generating fundamental notes for a melody line works well, but some form of filtering function that will lock onto the fundamental is needed to extract it from an instrument melody track ( i have recently been looking at this issue :))
