A journey through the Amazing Surf formula for Mandelbulber 2.13. Music is original music done with the NS/Stick and Chapman Stick, called "The Purpling."

6300 frames of Amazing Surf Mod 1 with the "fast" setting of ambient occlusion. The shadows came out pretty good. I don't usually get those good results with the fast setting, which is why I rarely use it.

This Amazing Surf Mod 1 formula works well with it. Cheers!

You can change the youtube quality to 4k on this video, and it's extremely crisp, as good as the Vimeo.  Unfortunately, it defaults to a lower res initially.

:clapping: Perfect surfscape, and a very fitting and dynamic track! (asurf is one of my favourites )
I've been following your animation work for some time now, Steve, and, though you were good at it to begin with, I see you getting even better and better...

Wow, Sabine, thank you so much!  I appreciate it. I've still got a long way to go, which is cool, because I'm enjoying the journey and the view keeps getting better every day!
