(Question) Is it possible to speed up rendering with this method?

Would it be possible to use the preexisting reference / high precision point to calculate the required point(s) [whether it be the image's center or other points] needed to quickly use perturbation theory and the process described on martin's paper to calculate points in order to create a complete image?

If so, could this be used repeatedly such that one reference point needs to be calculated per session?

If I understand the first question correctly (which is a big if), you're asking if you can predict the best reference points for later glitch correction from the first and current reference point, say from it's orbit. I think it's not proven impossible but nobody knows how to do it.

Reading the second question makes me think I may have not understood the first question.

Do we not know how to do this because of the fact that preexisting points don't provide enough information when trying to use them as reference points?

Or is it more complex than that?

You could say that a previously used reference orbit, which usually produces errors  (glitches) at some points does not give us the information needed to decide on the best next reference point, whose full precision orbit can be used to render those.
