The rules are as follows:

- Every user can submit ONE cool picture to become our fractal image of the month.
Images must be your own creation!  Production date is unimportant.

- Good resolution (HD mandatory, 4k preferred for print of calender if you win)
Images must be fractals, created with fractal software, postproduction is allowed.

- To participate, just post in this thread and attach the image to your post. (don't use the gallery)
Please give it a good name, and add interesting info like software/formula used, parameter sharing is very welcome!

- The first two weeks of the month are for suggestion, until the end of  the 14th of the month,   00.00 hr. midnight  (A'dam time)
   Check your local time here:
   https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/netherlands/amsterdam

- You can vote for each entry once (using our voting system bronze, silver and gold -  1, 2 and 3 points)
This voting period is from the beginning of the contest, until the end of the 28th of the month. You can change your vote during the
entire period.  Voting will be stopped at 00.00 hr.  midnight  A'dam time.  Check your local time here:
  https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/netherlands/amsterdam

- Top3  will be displayed in in the Winners gallery when voting is closed, and at the end of the year in a best of the year
  thread/galleryslideshow.
  https://fractalforums.org/index.php?action=gallery;cat=25

- We want to try to revive the printed fractal calendar idea. So any submitter automatically accepts that his image will be used in the
calender if it wins.    (all money from the calendar goes into the further development of fractalforums.)

- After the winners are announced, the winning images will be presented in the 'gallery of fame' to honor the winners and their Art.
The winning images are presented in this new gallery, which will grow to become a "best of" gallery:
https://fractalforums.org/index.php?action=gallery;cat=25

- Post any questions, or suggestions you have here: https://fractalforums.org/fractal-image-of-the-month/70/fractal-image-of-the-month-discussion-thread/150

Please start admitting your best work now and most off all.... have Fun!
Fractal Forum team.

Transmutation: Silver to Gold

Lyapunov fractal with the iteration function f(x) = 2.8*sin(r+x), sequence bbbbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaa, cut out from a larger image with x in [3.81, 6.23] and y in [2.26, 4].

"Argon"

Rendered with Apophysis as part of my periodic table project.
I know, lazy to put in in here, but that's the joke. Argon means lazy in latin.  :tease:

Enjoy

Edit: parameters included, change the extension to .flame to open it.

Bronze work.
All 12 caves of the majestic Astrakoi priest, are sealed with bronze plates, each different, each with mystic meaning. Once a year at the 'Winter-Solstice' (this year at 21-22 Dec.) the Temple of New Beginning open it's doors for the people for worship and prayer and good wishes for the year to come, for more than 4 millennia it is their way.
This is one of the plates, used to seal one of the twelve caves.

Made with Jux software.

Some time ago, I asked to Christos implement Kleinian's type in Fractal Zoomer.
This is one example that it can do. Other one can be seen at deviantart gallery:
