I have no idea, but after I've been logged out and in again... I can't get the layout right.  I can't post a message in the for me normal 'dark mode' for I get a white message with unreadable text, after adjustment it's ok  but still in an ugly way. (see this message for example)
This morning I wanted to send a pm to someone, but that didn't worked out either, and every time I wanted to send it again, I got the message that it was already send for the second, third time, but none were visible in my postbox.
Strange. I got no virus nor malware, anybody else got any problem?   I never experienced this before

weird, it looks ok on the site now but not when I type the message. That is on a white screen...

Try cleaning your browser's cache and site data?


I did, but nothing changed. Like now I'm typing on a white screen in the 'dark mode'   
Well, maybe tomorrow after the CPU had a deepdream

Thats not a server or forum issue. Its the way your browser interprets color assignments.
Check your desktop palette? Or browser colour preferences?

Caleidoscope, I think I found it, at least I can reproduce your problem. Go to your account seetings, forum look and feel Look and Layout and uncheck Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default. and do not forget to save your settings on the right bottom of the page...

   That was it!        Thanks a lot !    Strange isn't it, I never ever even looked there so I never changed anything     But glad it is normal again and I've learned something

Yes, everything is back to normal.  I just don't understand how it happened, for I didn't change anything, but that is only interesting maybe for the SysAdminslke you    The only thing happened was that I removed my webhistory, got logged out (normal) and I logged in again, and it was somehow changed. That's all.
But for as far as I can see, everything is good now.
