At one time FractalForums had a section on Structure Synth, a program for computationally generating structures. I did a search but couldn't find anything related. Has this material been deleted from the site?

There are so few resources in that archived forum. Are you interested in reviving it?
I haven't messed about in Structure Synth for a few years, but I am keen to learn some more.

I rendered quite a bit of things in Sunflow, but it is so slow now. Never did get the hang of rendering objects from Structure Synth in blender or povray.

I just wanted to review what was in that forum and see if anything new had been posted. I always like Structure Synth, and some of the structures built with it were absolutely amazing. Personally I found SS rather difficult to work with, in the sense that when I would make changes to a script, the results would often be very surprising and not at all what I wanted. That can be a good thing for exploration, but not so great when I wanted to create a specific effect. Perhaps others experienced the same thing, which might explain its lack of popularity. It did inspire me to write a Python shape engine for Blender several years ago. I found shape engines to be far more predictable yet still have a certain "surprise factor".

The surprise factor makes sense to me.
I found that I could make it more predictable by turning off the auto-increment on the seed variable. Then it would stay at the same seed and you'd get the same result every time (+/- the individual adjustments you made to the script).
