The following sequence of events happened:

1. I went to my Spacefilling gallery and typed something into the title and description boxes.
2. Clicked the button to select an image.
3. Erroneously, your software reloaded the page instead of opening the file chooser dialog
4. It claimed "Error: no image uploaded" or similarly.
5. I clicked the button to select an image again.
6. File chooser dialog appeared as I'd expected would happen the first time.
7. I selected the file and uploaded.
8. The Spacefilling gallery index reloaded but I didn't see my new upload, which should have been at top left.
9. I reloaded that page. Still no sign of the image.
10. I reloaded the front page. It was in the recent gallery uploads.
11. Clicked on it. For some reason it is not where I put it, in Spacefilling. Your software incorrectly filed it under "Fractint" instead.
12. Clicked edit.
13. Can't find how to move it to Spacefilling, where it belongs. The drop-down doesn't list it or any of my user galleries for some reason.

This leads to a question and two suggestions:

1. How do I move the image to Spacefilling? The way to do that is non-obvious.

2. The way to do it should not be non-obvious. Please improve the UI in that area so that moving an image that your software has inexplicably misplaced is possible to do without having to ask here sometimes.

3. Please correct whatever error in the software caused the image to be misfiled in the first place. I clicked Add Picture in Spacefilling. I never interacted with the drop-down for selecting a different destination (until trying to fix the error after it had occurred). It should therefore have been filed under Spacefilling. But somehow it wasn't.

I've done this for you already...

Go to the erroneous post location, Fractint, edit the post, at the bottom of the page is "Picture Move Options:[ Move to User Gallery ]"

not sure if this is for user/owner or admins only

(if it was our software then everyone would be experiencing the same thing because everyone is sourcing the same copy of the code as you do, there is no difference between the code you have and the code the rest of us have.)
Resistance is fertile... you will be illuminated!

You aren't going to believe this, but I just went back to the Fractint gallery to attempt to carry out your suggestion ... and now I don't see the image there!
