When trying to attach kfr file it doesn't show up. No error msg or anything.

OK, that's odd.

I can confirm the problem is real.

I'll try removing kfr from the list and re-adding it.

Apart from that, I have never seen this issue before so I may need some time to find an answer.

EDIT: On a whim I tried to browse to the file and not use the drag and drop feature for attaching the file.

It seems to work that way.

So at least we have a work-around.

I'll still look for an answer for why it failed on the other method, but at least it's working "the old way"

Please test it both ways and let us know if this solution works on your end.

Removed kfr from list, saved changes, then re-added it.

Drag and drop attachment test here...

EDIT - D&D still fails, but browsing works.

Me confused.

Hopefully we can fix this soon, if not - try the browse method until we can nail this down.

It stopped working again. (OK with file browsing, no drag'n drop.)

The strange thing about this problem is that it is limited to .kfr files  (and maybe other untested file formats).  Your test was with images.  They, and apparently most other allowed file attachment types, all work fine.

Testing again with a .kfr file

EDIT - OK.

Drag and drop worked for that kfr file.

I hate intermittent problems.

They are the hardest to fix...

For now, if one method fails and the other works, use what works.

Until this becomes something repeatable enough to test further, that's the best solution we can offer.

File format? UTF-8 vs ISO-80991? (I think)
Maybe /n vs /r/n line ending?

I think what it means: any special characters, ?!? space... these things might mess with it.
any such characters in your filename gerrit? could you upload the problem file (without drag&drop) so we can test it?

I was just joking, thus the winking smiley at the end.

The problem is real though.

Earlier in this thread I documented me trying to post a kfr file with a failure using the drag and drop method, but success with the same file using the browse method immediately afterward.

The drag and drop interface fails randomly with kfr files.  I suspect 3Dickuolus was implying something about the way Kalles Fraktaller writes files, not any naming convention by the user.
