At Gerson. Good IFS spiral. You can make transparent the background of that spiral with Gimp and then use it as orbital trap in FFExplorer.
About Dust, I love that old program. And yes, I agree with you that IFS fractals in FFExplorer need more features and improvements.
And I am trying to convince SergioCT to add exponent complex and planes to FFExplorer too. I do that showing him fractals with complex exponents made with other programs :p

Hi @Gerson, the IFS editor is something very recently added to FFE, and there is much room for improvement. The renderer for now only works with complex plane algorithms. I'll keep in mind your suggestions.

I just released v11, which includes a few new algorithms.

By the way, I love your IFS fractal :)

More images.

@SergioCT Other way to explore easier ifs would be sliders to values, but in this case the image would be "on time", without using of "apply" to refresh it.
Difine a range to each value and put a slider to change it, so while value is changed the image is changing at the same time.

Good news, will try new version soon.
take a look, links for tutorials are not working.

@julofi could you give me some hint about gimp?
I used few times and don't know how to make transparent background on it.

explaining better sliders: could be only one to all values. It could be similar with used in lyapunov, so when a value box is selected to change the value, the slider will be associated with this value and its range.
So would have 3 ways to change the values, manualy (one by one), with help of slider (one at time) or randon button (that change all values randomly at the same time).

Tuturial's links are working now.

@Gerson There are a lot of tutorials in the Internet about how to turn transparent the background. For example: https://qastack.com.br/graphicdesign/5446/making-the-background-of-an-image-transparent-in-gimp
I am not an expert in Gimp and when I need a transparent background I do something much simpler:

I just tried FFExplorer 11, the Net5 version, in Wine and it sorts of works, but with problems and bugs and some unstability. Some things don't work but it is more or less usable.
Just install the last Wine 6, unzip FFE, and click on the FFE executable. Wine will prompt for and install the necessary packages and it will send you to the Microsoft web where you have to donwnload and install the runtimes for Net5 windows 64 bits.

I just created and renderer this fractal from Wine.
The type is Manowar. I increased a bit the exposure with Gimp (it was a bit dark).

@Gerson It is good. I like it. Did you try that same ticking the Smooth option in Edit Form? I think it could decrease or remove the banding in the background. Increasing bailout can help to remove banding in some cases too.
